In the app, Settings → Report a problem writes a diagnostic with the router model, firmware version and recent log. Sending it along is the difference between an answer and a round of questions. The diagnostic masks Wi-Fi names, device names, MAC addresses, IP addresses and phone numbers, and you see all of it before it goes anywhere.
On iPhone the first scan almost always comes back empty: the "Local Network" permission sheet appears in the middle of that scan, so every attempt in it fails. Tap rescan and it will be there.
Still nothing? The first pairing has to happen on the same Wi-Fi as the router — not over a VPN, and not on a guest network.
Open Settings → Unlock everything → Restore purchase. The purchase follows your App Store / Google Play account, not the device.
On the pairing screen, enter demo / demo, or tap
Try it out (demo mode). Every screen runs for real on fabricated data,
and nothing is written to disk.
Open Settings → Router helper → Remove from router. It takes away everything Rowa installed and leaves the router's own configuration alone.
